For the Respondent(s) : Mr. Raju Datta, P.P. HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE S. DATTA PURKAYASTHA ORDER 22/01/2026 Heard learned counsel of both sides. During hearing, Mr. Prabal Kumar Ghosh, learned counsel for the applicant submits that he is not pressing the petition. Accordingly, the bail application is rejected as not pressed. Mr. Ghosh, learned counsel, however, further submits that the accused Omnath Yadav is suffering from certain medical issues including malfunctioning of prostate gland and there are only five numbers of witnesses cited in the charge sheet. In that circumstance, trial may be expedited as the accused persons are in custody. Considered the submission. The Jail authority will take care of the applicant regarding his health condition and will take necessary step with intimation to the learned Special Judge regarding his proper treatment, whenever so requires. Learned Trial Court will also take endeavour to dispose of the case expeditiously considering the fact that the accused persons are in custody. Return the case diary to learned P.P. Also reconsign the LC record to learned Trial Court. In terms of the above, the bail application is disposed of.
