The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Special (NDPS Act) Case No. 175 of 2024, arising out of DRI Unit Case No. 02/2024-25 (File No. DRI/ LZU/ PRU/ 718(ii) /ENQ- 14/2024) registered for the offence under Sections 20(b) (ii)(C)/25/29 of the NDPS Act. 3. As per prosecution case, there is recovery of 65.600 Kg. of Ganja from a car. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. Petitioner is in custody since 16.08.2024. Petitioner has three criminal antecedents and in three cases he is on bail. The name of the petitioner has come in self inculpatory statement of co- Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.11520 of 2026(2) dt.23-02-2026 2/2 accused person that the petitioner was also involved in the business of ganja. Charge has been framed against the petitioner on 31.07.2025. Out of eight witnesses, one witness has been examined. 5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail. 6. Considering the huge recovery of ganja and the fact that the petitioner is involved in the business of ganja and also the fact that the trial has started, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 7.
