This is an ofÏce reference. 2. This Court, vide order dated 06.11.2023 passed in MCRC No. 6494 of 2024, while allowing the bail to the applicant, namely, Devrup Rajwade, had expressed its trust that the trial Court would make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of passing of the order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. Earlier on one occasion also, this Court had granted extension of KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 time for compliance of the order dated 06.11.2023. 4. The learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Ambikapur District- Surguja (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 19.01.2026 has requested for grant of two months time for concluding the trial. 5. It transpires from perusal of the PUD, that in the present case, the trial Court reveals that the final report has already been presented before the Court concerned and seven prosecution witnesses have been cited therein, whose evidence are yet to be recorded. It is further reflected that, after completion of the prosecution evidence, the statements of the accused persons are required to be recorded and thereafter the matter will be fixed for final arguments. The trial Court has reported that, considering the stage of the trial and the procedural requirements still to be completed, the case cannot be disposed of within the stipulated period and has, therefore, sought time of two months for concluding the same. 6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 8. Registry is directed to send a certified copy of this order to the trial Court concerned for necessary information and compliance. Sd/- (Ramesh Sinha) Chief Justice Kunal
