This is an application under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 for granting pre- arrest bail to the petitioner namely Sri Sohel Ali @ Soyel Ali apprehending arrest in connection with Golakganj P.S. Case No. 101/2026 (G. R. Case No. 481/2026) registered Sections 140(3)/3(5) of the BNS, 2023. 3. The allegation made against the petitioner is that the petitioner took away Page No.# 2/2 the daughter of the informant and her friend form the front of their school and thereafter he took them to Guwahati with the help of two others by giving them various temptations. The informant suspects the petitioner and others to have committed rape on them. Subsequently, the victims were recovered. 4. Case dairy is received and perused. 5. From perusal of the case diary, it appears that the alleged victims although were minors had left with the accused and no other act of malicious nature has been attributed to the petitioner. 6. Having regard to the above and the fact that the victims have already been recovered, custodial interrogation of the petitioner may not be necessary. The prayer for pre-arrest bail is allowed. 7. Accordingly it is directed that the petitioner named above in the event of his arrest in connection with the aforementioned case, shall be released on bail on furnishing a bail bond of Rs. 50,000/- with 2 sureties of the like amount to the satisfaction of the arresting authority. It is further provided that the petitioner shall appear before the I.O. within 15 days from today and shall cooperate with the investigation. 8. The petition stands allowed. 9.
