JUSTICE YARENJUNGLA LONGKUMER ORDER Date : 07.08.2026 The instant application under Order XLI Rule 5 read with section 151 of the CPC has been preferred by the applicant/appellant against the judgment and award dated 10.09.2025 passed by the learned Member, MACT Cachar, Silchar in MAC Case No.233/2018. Heard the learned counsel for the applicant Mr. S.P. Choudhury. The applicant submits that he has filed an appeal which has been admitted by this Court wherein he has taken good grounds which is likely to succeed and therefore the learned counsel therefore prays that the impugned judgment and award dated 10.09.2025 may be suspended during the pendency of the connected appeal. This Court has considered the facts and circumstances of the case and is of the view that the impugned judgment and award dated 10.09.2025 passed by the learned Member, MACT Cachar, Silchar in MAC Case No.233/2018 needs to be suspended. Accordingly it is directed that the impugned judgment and award dated 10.09.2025 passed by the learned Member, MACT Cachar, Silchar in MAC Case No.233/2018 shall remain suspended during the pendency of the appeal.
