CMP No.14445 of 2026 The present application has been filed seeking permission to organize the 5th Rural State Level Volleyball tournament, under the 'Nasha Chhodo, Khel Khelo' campaign, from 23.06.2026 to 26.06.2026. The event will take place in the sports ground of Government Utkrisht Senior Secondary School (Rani Rattan Kumari Memorial Government Model Senior Secondary School), Nogli, Tehsil Rampur Bushahr, District Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. It is submitted that the tournament will be organized in the school playground in the evening, from 04:00 PM to 08:00 PM, as 26.06.2026 is a holiday. 2. The necessary NOC (Annexure P-3) has also been provided by the school Principal, confirming that the timing of the matches will be from 04:00 pm to 11:00 pm, so there will be no disturbance during study hours. Similar, permission was also granted on earlier occasion on 20.06.2022 (Annexure A-4) in CMP No.7634 of 2022 in CWPIL No.146 of 2017. 3. Keeping in view the above, the present application is allowed and the applicant is permitted to organize the 5th Rural State Level Volleyball tournament w.e.f. 23.06.2026 to 26.06.2026 (from 04:00 pm to 11:00 pm) in the sports ground of Government Utkrisht Senior Secondary School (Rani Rattan Kumari Memorial Government Model Senior Secondary School), Nogli, Tehsil Rampur Bushahr, District Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, subject to the following conditions:- (i) That no damage shall be caused to the property of the school and its playground, where the tournament is proposed to be organized. (ii) That after the tournament is organized, the playground shall be handed over to the Principal of the school aforesaid in a neat and clean condition and it shall be ensured that no plastic is used except the one permissible under the law. The administration shall ensure that the playground is cleaned after the tournament from 26th June, 2026. (iii) That the toilets of the school meant for students and staff shall not be allowed to be used by the people visiting the tournament and the applicant shall make proper arrangement of the toilet(s) for the visitors of the tournament. (iv) That the law and order shall be maintained by the local administration during the said period. (v) That the applicant shall deposit a sum of Rs.20,000/- in the Students Welfare Fund of the School. 4. The application stands disposed off accordingly. CMP No.14447 of 2026 5. The present application has been filed seeking permission to conduct Sports Championship in the school ground of the Government Senior Secondary School, Dofda, Post Office Dofda, Tehsil Rampur District Shimla, Himachal Pradesh w.e.f. 27.06.2026 to 29.06.2026. It is submitted that the opening ceremony of the tournament will take place on 27.06.2026. Since this is a working day, the applicant is ready to conduct the ceremony after the school timings, ensuring that the studies of the students are not affected. Furthermore, 28.06.2026 and 29.06.2026 will be school holidays as they fall on a Sunday and Monday. 6. Keeping in view the above, the present application is allowed and the applicant is permitted to conduct Sports Championship in the school ground of the Government Senior Secondary School, Dofda, Post Office Dofda, Tehsil Rampur District Shimla, Himachal Pradesh w.e.f. 27.06.2026 to 29.06.2026 (after school timings), subject to the following conditions:- (i) That no damage shall be caused to the property of the school and its playground, where the tournament is proposed to be organized. (ii) That after the tournament is organized, the playground shall be handed over to the Principal of the school aforesaid in a neat and clean condition and it shall be ensured that no plastic is used except the one permissible under the law. The administration shall ensure that the playground is cleaned after the tournament from 26th June, 2026. (iii) That the toilets of the school meant for students and staff shall not be allowed to be used by the people visiting the tournament and the applicant shall make proper arrangement of the toilet(s) for the visitors of the tournament.
