Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the subject matter of the case relates to alleged recovery of 2880 bottles of Wincrex Cough Syrup. It has been submitted that the petitioner is in custody for 9 months and till date charges have not been framed. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that in addition to the aforesaid contraband, 25 grams of Yaba Tablets were recovered from another accused. Be that as it may, records reflect that some of the accused persons are absconding. Learned special court will split up the trial of the case after exhausting the process of law so far as the 2 absconding accused are concerned. Learned special court would thereafter expedite the process of consideration of charges. Petitioner would be at liberty to approach this Court after the evidence of the seizure list witnesses are over. At this stage, the prayer for bail in CRM(NDPS) 712 of 2026 is dismissed.
