Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present writ petition seeks a direction for expeditious disposal of Maintenance Case No. 942/2022 pending before the Family Court, Raipur. He submits that despite grant of interim maintenance, the matter has remained pending at the stage of respondent’s evidence since 14.12.2023 due to repeated adjournments, causing undue hardship to the petitioner. He, therefore, prays that a direction be issued to the Family Court to conclude the proceedings within a reasonable period of time. 3. In view of the aforesaid submission and taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, it is expected that the learned Family Court, Raipur shall make an earnest endeavour to expedite the trial and conclude the proceedings at the earliest possible without granting unnecessary adjournments. 4.
