Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the 8th respondent is the father of the 9th respondent. The 9th respondent used to look after one Abu Zafar, the brother of the petitioner. Abu Zafar and his wife were issueless. The 9th respondent has obtained a birth certificate wherein the name of Abu Zafar has been recorded as his father though Abu Zafar has not adopted the 9th respondent whose biological father is Salauddin, the 8th respondent herein. The petitioner submitted a representation in this regard before the Block Development Officer, Islampur Block, being the 6th respondent herein, on 13th August, 2025 and seeks consideration of the same. Learned counsel for the State submits that the representation be directed to be considered by the 6th respondent, in accordance with law. In view of the above, the 6th respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the 2 petitioner dated 13th August, 2025 within six weeks from the date of communication of this order upon granting reasonable opportunity of hearing to all concerned including the petitioner and the private respondents, in accordance with law. The decision taken by the authority shall be communicated to the parties within a week thereof. The writ petition is thus disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit has been invited, allegations contained in the writ petition shall be deemed not to have been admitted.
