Petitioner is serving in Jai Mohan Higher Secondary School, Kania Ramnagar, District Nainital, reportedly since 13.02.2012. 3. According to her, the said institution was included in the grant-in-aid list on 10.02.2014 and thereafter token grant of Rs. 2.00 lakh was given to the said institution vide G.O. dated 13.06.2019 but salary grant has not been released so far. 4. Since petitioner’s salary is still being paid by the management and not by State Government, therefore, petitioner has filed this writ petition, seeking the following reliefs: “i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to allow the salary grant to the petitioner from the date the institution "Jai Mohan Higher secondary School, Kania Ramnagar, District Nainital" was taken into grant-in-aid of the State Government i.e. 10.2.2014. ii) Issue a writ of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent no 5 not to disengage the petitioner from the post of Assistant Teacher LT and continue the petitioner as Assistant Teacher LT. 5. Learned State Counsel rightly submits that whether the liability to pay full salary to 2026:UHC:2502 teaching and non-teaching staff of a privately managed institution is to be borne by State or not, is a policy decision which can only be taken by the Government. He submits that if petitioner has any grievance in the matter, then he can approach the competent authority by making a representation. 6. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by permitting the petitioner to make representation to the competent authority within two weeks. Representation if made within stipulated time, shall be decided as per law, within four months thereafter.
