Petitioner, through the medium of this petition, seeks direction upon the respondents to issue the Arms License, asserting that he has applied for the issuance of the Arms License on 17.02.2023 through online mode, vide Ref. No. 15293AIA02323 to respondent No. 2- District Magistrate, Jammu. However, it is alleged that the matter has not been decided by respondent No. 2, as yet. 02. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner shall be satisfied, in case, this petition is disposed of at this stage with a Serial No. 173 2 direction to respondent No. 2-District Magistrate, Jammu to consider the application moved by the petitioner for issuance of Arms license. 03. Ms. Nazia Fazal, Assisting counsel appearing vice Mrs. Monika Kohli, learned Sr. AAG, who is present before this Court submits that the respondents are not averse to the said direction for consideration of the matter, in case the application is found to have been moved, by the petitioner to respondent No. 2. 04. In view of the pleadings, facts and circumstances of the case and submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, the instant petition is disposed of at this motion stage, with a direction to respondent No. 2-District Magistrate, Jammu to consider the matter, in case, application has been moved by the petitioner for grant of Arms license in his favour, expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months. 05.
