Impugned in this petition filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of Constitution of India is an order and judgment dated 13.05.2026 passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal, Srinagar Bench [“The Tribunal”] in OA No. 476/2026 titled, ‘Tanveer ul Islam vs. Union Territory of J&K and ors.’, whereby the Tribunal has dismissed the OA filed by the petitioner seeking quashment of Order No. 22 of 2026 dated 24.04.2026 to the extent it pertains to transfer of the petitioner from Kalaroose Block to Kehnusa Block. 2. After arguing for a while, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave of this Court to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to make a written representation to the Chief Conservator of Forests, Kashmir, Serial No. 45 2 WP(C) No. 1146/2026 challenging the competence of Conservator of Forests Kashmir North Circle Sopore to issue the order of transfer. 3. Statement of learned counsel for the petitioner is taken on record. 4. The petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to make a written representation to the Chief Conservator of Forests, Kashmir within a period of one week from today. We, however provide that in case such representation challenging the competence of Conservator of Forests, Kashmir North Circle Sopore is made by the petitioner within stipulated period, the same shall be considered and disposed of by the Chief Conservator of Forests, Kashmir Region within a period of one week from the date of receipt of such representation. However, we make it clear that till the representation is disposed of by the Chief Conservator of Forests, Kashmir Region, there shall be status quo with regard to posting of the petitioner.
