For Petitioner(s): Mr.Naveen Kumar Murthi for Mr.Sanjay Aravindan.S For Respondent(s): Mr.D.Ravichander, Special Government Pleader (for R1 & R2) O R D E R This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to disburse the entire compensation amount to the petitioner and the respondents 3 to 7, who according to the petitioner, are the lawful owners of the property which was acquired by the official respondents based on the petitioner’s representation dated 25.10.2025 within the time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.According to the petitioner, he and the respondents 3 to 7 are the absolute owners of the property morefully described in the affidavit filed in support of this Writ Petition which is acquired by the official respondents and therefore, they alone are entitled to receive the compensation amount. The petitioner also relies upon the judgment rendered by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India which has been filed along with this Writ Petition to establish that the petitioner and the respondents 3 to 7 are the absolute owners of the property which is acquired by the official respondents and compensation amount was __________ Page3 of 8 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 6610 of 2026 also determined by them. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner’s representation dated 25.10.2025 as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law by the 1st respondent after hearing all the necessary parties which include the respondents 3 to 11 and any other third party whom the 1st respondent deem fit to enquire within a time frame to be fixed by this Court after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the petitioner, which includes the judgment rendered by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India relied upon by the petitioner. 3.Mr.D.Ravichander, Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2. 4.Since no adverse orders are passed as against the respondents 3 to 11 in this Writ Petition, notice to the respondents 3 to 11 is dispensed with by this Court. 5.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner’s representation. For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is liable to be disposed of by directing the 1st respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner’s representation dated 25.10.2025, seeking for disbursement of the entire compensation amount to the petitioner and the respondents 3 to 7 for the property which is acquired by the official __________ Page4 of 8 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 6610 of 2026 respondents for the property which is morefully described in the affidavit filed in support of the Writ Petition after hearing all the necessary parties which include the respondents 3 to 11 and any other third party whom the 1st respondent deems fit to enquire, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
