ORAL ORDER (PER: HON'BLE MR. VIBHU BAKHRU, CHIEF JUSTICE)
1. The complainant has filed the present complaint alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 26.07.2024 passed by the learned Single Judge in W.P. No.17152/2017 (GM-KIADB). In terms of the said order, the Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board [KIADB] was directed to allot suitable land to the petitioner in the event, the land becomes available in the Bommasandra - Jigani Industrial area or any other suitable industrial area. The complainant was granted liberty to furnish the details of any available land in any industrial area. The complainant had filed the present complaint alleging that it had furnished the details of

certain lands but yet no further steps had been taken by the KIADB.
2. The KIADB has filed an affidavit affirming that the lands identified by the complainant is the subject matter of an appeal [W.A. No.244/2025] which is pending in this Court. In this view, the said land is not available to the complainant. The KIADB offered alternate land/s in Kolar. However, the same is not acceptable to the complainant.
3. We are unable to accept that in the given facts that any proceedings under Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 are maintainable. The complaint is, accordingly, closed.
4. Needless to state that the order disobedience of which is complained shall continue to be operative.
