Learned counsel for the petitioner submit that petitioner is holding post of Dy. Director, Geology and was eligible for consideration of his name for promotion on the post of Joint Director, Geology, however, name of petitioner was not considered by the Departmental Promotion Committee constituted by the respondents authorities. He contended that aggrieved with which petitioner has earlier filed writ petition bearing number WPS No.14081/2025, however upon getting information that name of the petitioner can be considered, the writ petition was withdrawn. He submits that even after withdrawal of writ petition, name of petitioner was not considered and therefore, this writ petition is filed. 2. At this stage the petitioner is only seeking direction to respondent No.1 to consider and take decision on representation submitted by the petitioner at the earliest. 3. Mr. Thakur, Additional Advocate General for the State submits that as petitioner is not pressing this petition on merits and only seeking a direction to respondent No.1 to consider and take decision on the representation, he is having no objection to the limited prayer. 4. Counsel for the respondent No.3/Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission would submits that at this stage the grievance of the petitioner is against respondents-State only. 3 5. On due consideration of the submission of learned counsel for respective parties, writ petition at this stage is disposed of permitting the petitioner to submit fresh comprehensive representation before the respondents No. 1 and 3 and in the event, such representation is submitted by the petitioner, concerned authorities shall consider and take decision on the same in accordance with law on its own merits expeditiously, preferably within a further period of 02 months from the date of receipt of representation. 6.
