J ALI,MS F HUSSAIN Advocate for the Respondent : PP, ASSAM, BEFORE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ANJAN MONI KALITA ORDER Date : 13.08.2026 Heard Ms. F. Hussain, learned counsel for the accused applicant. Also heard Mr. M. P. Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Page No.# 2/2 This is an application under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, praying for grant of pre-arrest bail to the accused applicant, who apprehends arrest in connection with Dispur (M) Police Station. Ms. Hussain, learned counsel for the accused applicant, submits that the accused applicant is a student and he was in a relationship with a lady. It is submitted that, since their relationship has turned sour, the said lady has been threatening the accused applicant with lodging an FIR against him. She further submits that the police personnel have been calling the accused applicant, pursuant to which he apprehends his arrest. It is, however, seen that the accused applicant himself has admitted that no case has, as yet, been registered against him at the concerned police station. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court does not find any merit in the present application. Accordingly, the instant anticipatory bail application stands dismissed. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
