Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs. “10.1 That, the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to consider and decide the application dated 27.11.2025 made by the petitioner for dependent employment to the petitioner in place of his father Late Jhilak Ram in accordance with the scheme of NCWA, within some stipulated period of time. 10.2 Any other relief, which the Hon’ble Court deems fit and proper may kindly be granted in favour of the petitioner.” PAWAN KUMAR JHA Digitally signed by PAWAN KUMAR JHA 2 / 2 2. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that Late Jhilak Ram was employed with respondent-department. After his death, petitioner being his daughter has submitted an application for grant of dependent employment dated 27.11.2025 after obtaining succession certificate from the competent court. He contended that application submitted by petitioner is still pending and therefore respondents be directed to consider and take decision on the pending application at the earliest. 3. Learned State counsel submits that as the counsel for petitioner is not pressing this writ petition on merits and only seeking direction to the respondents authorities to take decision on the application for grant of dependent employment, he is having no objection to the limited prayer. If the application submitted by petitioner is still pending consideration, it will be considered in accordance with law. 4. On due consideration of the submission made by learned counsel for the respective parties, without entering into merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of directing respondents-authorities to take decision on the pending application submitted by petitioner for grant of dependent employment, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a further period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of order passed by this Court. 5.
