JUSTICE PRAMIL KUMAR MATHUR
Order 07/08/2026
1. The petitioner has preferred this bail application under Section 483 of BNSS in FIR No.77/2026 registered at Police Station Mokhampura, District Jaipur Rural for offences under Sections 318(4), 316(2) and 61(2) of BNS, 2023.
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Public Prosecutor and perused the material available on record.
3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that the petitioner is a senior citizen aged sixty-five years and his wife is suffering from Cancer. There is no material on record to indicate
[2026:RJ-JP:31031] (2 of 3) [CRLMB-12263/2026] that the petitioner executed any lease deed in favour of any person. It is further submitted that there is no FSL report from which it can be inferred that the petitioner was involved in fabricating or forging any document. He also submits that no amount has been transferred to the petitioner’s bank account, which would suggest any dishonest inducement on his part. He further submits that, after the petitioner secures the benefit of bail in one or more FIRs, the police are in the habit of falsely implicating him in another case, thereby ensuring his continued involvement in criminal proceedings despite the grant of bail. Petitioner is behind the bars since 14.07.2026 though eleven cases have been reported against him, however, in all cases except present one he is already on bail. The trial of the case will take considerable time, therefore, no fruitful purpose would be served by keeping the petitioner in further custody and the bail application of the petitioner may be allowed.
4. Learned Public Prosecutor has vehemently opposed the bail application.
5. On consideration of the rival submissions and material available on record and in light of submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner but without expressing any opinion on merits/demerits of the case, I am inclined to grant benefit of bail to the petitioner.
6. Consequently, the bail application under Section 483 B.N.S.S. is allowed and it is directed that the petitioner Ranveer Sharma S/o Late Shri Sundarlal, be released on bail provided he furnishes a personal bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- with two sureties in the sum of Rs.25,000/- each to the satisfaction of the
[2026:RJ-JP:31031] (3 of 3) [CRLMB-12263/2026] learned trial court with the stipulation that he shall appear before that Court on all subsequent dates of hearing till conclusion of the trial.
