This application has been filed under Section 482 BNSS, seeking pre-arrest bail of the petitioner, namely, Bigrai Boro, apprehending his arrest in Page No.# 2/2 connection with Goreswar P.S. Case No. 25/2026 registered under Sections 297/112 of BNS, 2023, read with Sections 13/14 of the Assam Game and Betting Act. 3. The allegation as reflected in the instant FIR is that one Jiten Boro was selling illegal gambling tickets on the roadside by creating a booking center at Nowkata, Goreswar which attracted crowds creating disturbance of public peace. 4. It is submitted that the petitioner is not an FIR named accused and although the offences invoked are non-bailable, the punishment provided for none of the said offences exceeds 1(one) year. 5. Pursuant to interim protection granted by this Court by the petitioner appear before the I.O and the statements have been recorded and subsequently the charge-sheet has also been submitted vide Charge Sheet No.38/2026 dated 24.07.2026. 6. Having regard to the above, as well as the nature of the allegation order of interim pre-arrest bail dated 15.07.2026 is hereby made absolute as same conditions. 7.
