1. Through the present petition, the limited prayer is made for directions to the learned Trial Court to expeditiously hear and decide the Suit No. Civil Suit (DJ) No. 512/2025.
2. This Court notes that the underlying suit bearing CS DJ No. 512/2025 has been instituted under Order XXXVII of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, wherein the legislative intent is to ensure speedy adjudication. Prolonged pendency of suits seeking summary adjudication would render the intent otiose and illusory.
3. Accordingly, This Court is of the view that the petitioner is entitled to an expeditious trial.
