This interlocutory application is preferred by the applicant, who has preferred the accompanying writ petition, WP(C) No. 3486/2026, seeking amendment in the Cause-Title of the accompanying writ petition. 3. It is averred that while filing the writ petition, the opposite parties/respondents were inadvertently numbered as respondent Nos. 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6 in the Cause Title. It is stated that due to inadvertent typographical and clerical mistakes, serial number “2” was omitted in the Cause-Title. As a result, there is no respondent No. 2 in the accompanying writ petition, although there are Page No.# 3/3 5 (five) respondents. 4. Having regard to the statements and averments made in this interlocutory application and considering the fact that the mistakes in the Cause-Title of the accompanying writ petition appear to be typographical one, the instant interlocutory application stands allowed.
