Court No. 19 (265719) 09.02.2026 (AD 18) (S. Banerjee) WPA 27479 of 2025 Dipak Kumar Seth Vs. The State of West Bengal & Anr. Mr. Sayantan Adhya Mr. Rejwan Ali …for the petitioner Mr. Susovan Sengupta, Ld. AGP Mr. Sanatan Panja …for the State Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner states that the respondent authorities are not allowing the petitioner to pay Khajna in respect of the plots in question. Mr. Sengupta, learned AGP submits on instruction that the name of the petitioner has not yet been mutated in the revenue records. On a query of the Court learned advocate appearing for the petitioner does not dispute such factual position. He, however, states that the name of the petitioner has been recorded in the assessment records of the municipality. In the light of the submissions made by the learned advocates for the respective parties, this writ petition stands disposed of by leaving the petitioner 2 free to take steps in accordance with law if he is aggrieved that his name has not yet been mutated in the revenue records.
