Learned counsel for the petitioner in C.M.P. No. 281 of 2024 has submitted that the petition was filed by the petitioner seeking restoration of W.P(S) No. 4494 of 2023 in the year 2024 itself and for that as per the practice and procedure of this Court no fresh Vakalatnama is required. However, the petitioner has also filed another C.M.P. No. 299 of 2026 by filing Vakalatnama. He submits that the second petition seeking restoration is not maintainable. 2. Nobody is appearing on behalf of the petitioner in C.M.P. No. 299 of 2026. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed as not pressed. C.M.P. No. 281 of 2024 3. This petition has been filed for restoration of W.P.(S) No. 4494 of 2023 which stood dismissed on 15.03.2024 for non-removal of defect in terms of order dated 28.02.2024. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that due to inadvertence the defects could not be removed and the learned counsel for the petitioner could not mark the list. 5. Learned counsel for the respondents has no objection so far as the prayer for restoration is concerned. 6. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and being satisfied with the cause shown, the time granted for removal of defect in W.P.(S) No. 4494 of 2023 vide order dated 28.02.2024 is extended till 12.06.2026. 7. If the defects in writ petition is removed within the extended time, the office is directed to place the writ petition before the appropriate bench as per roster. 8. This C.M.P is disposed of.
