Counsel for the petitioner submits that suffice it would be if a direction be given to the respondent to take a decision upon the same. 3. Counsel for the State submits that an application is still pending and no decision has yet been taken. 4. Considering the said submission, I direct the respondent authority, before whom the application of the petitioner is pending, to take a decision within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Further, the decision taken by the respondent authority must be communicated to the petitioner. 5. With the aforesaid observations and directions, this writ petition is disposed of.
