This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers: “a) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other suitable writ, order or direction directing the respondents to consider and decide the representations dated 03.03.2022, 04.03.2022, 16.04.2022, 29.06.2022 and 25.02.2026 of petitioner institution for grant of recognition for B.Ed. course for academic session 2026-2027....” 2. The brief facts of the case are that the petitioner institution had applied for recognition for B.Ed. Course vide online application dated 17.06.2016 wherein the respondent No. 2 considered the application and issued refusal order dated 24.02.2017 to the petitioner institution. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 18/07/2026 at 11:52:20 Aggrieved, the petitioner institution filed an appeal to the respondent No. 3 pursuant to which an Order dated 31.10.2018 was passed and the matter was remanded back to respondent No. 2. Further, the respondent vide letter dated 02.07.2019 issued an inspection letter to the petitioner and the Letter of Intent (“LOI”) dated 17.07.2021 was issued by the respondent No. 2 prior to grant of recognition order. 3. The petitioner submitted reply dated 04.08.2021 in compliance of the LOI which was not considered by the respondent No. 2 and therefore again submitted a reply dated 15.11.2021. The respondent No. 2 furthermore in its 356th meeting held on 2nd-3rd March 2022 decided to issue Show Cause Notice to the petitioner for not submitting the reply within stipulated time disregarding the representations and replies filed by the petitioners. Hence, the present petition. 4. The petitioner in the present writ petition is only seeking consideration and decision on his representations. 5. In the view of the above, the respondents are directed to consider and dispose of the above said representations expeditiously and not later than 2 weeks from today. 6.
