HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD WRIT - A No. - 34239 of 2014 Chief Justice's Court HON'BLE ARUN BHANSALI, CHIEF JUSTICE HON'BLE KSHITIJ SHAILENDRA, J. 1. This writ petition is directed against order dated 02.04.2014 passed in Original Application ('O.A.') No. 1845 of 2012, whereby the O.A. filed by the respondent has been allowed. 2. The order impugned in the O.A. dated 12.08.2012 was quashed and the petitioners were directed to ensure payment of pension and other post retiral benefits along with interest @ 9% per annum from the date it became due till the date of actual payment as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of the order. 3. In the writ petition, no interim order was passed. 4. Counsel for the petitioners submits that the issue as raised in the present writ petition is squarely covered by order of this Court in Union of India and 2 others Vs. Kalika Singh and another: Writ-A No. 4296 of 2025, decided on 25.05.2026, wherein after referring to judgments on the subject matter, the writ petition and other connected matters were dismissed. 5. In the case of Kalika Singh (supra), this Court, after hearing the parties, came to the following conclusion:- "5. Today, learned counsel for the respondents points out that in identical matters, arising from the judgements passed by this Court, Special Leave Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Rajesh Tripathi, Dhirendra Kumar Dwivedi, Harish Chandra Dubey Counsel for Respondent(s) : L.M. Singh, S.C. Union of India through Secretary and 3 others .....Petitioner(s) Khursheed Alam and another .....Respondent(s) Petition (Civil) Diary No. 54252 of 2025: Union of India Vs. and others Vs. Nebboo Lal and other connected matters, special leave petitions have been dismissed on 12.01.2026 and following the said order in the case of Nebboo Lal, against the judgement in the case of Harinandan (supra), the Special Leave Petition (Civil) Nos. 3073-3074 of 2025 has been dismissed by Hon'ble Supreme Court on 11.05.2026. 6. In view of the above fact situation, wherein the issue raised in the present petition is squarely covered by the judgement of this Court in the case of Harinandan (supra) and against the said judgement, special leave petition has been dismissed, we do not find any reason to entertain the present writ petitions against the orders passed by the Tribunal, the writ petitions are accordingly dismissed." 6. In view of the submissions made and following the judgment in the case of Kalika Singh (supra), the present writ petition is also dismissed.
