Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Government Advocate for the respondents. 2. The present petition has been filed praying for the following relief:- "- Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned order dated 20.07.2026 passed by the Additional District Magistrate (Finance & Revenue) Aligarh in Case No.1156 of 2025, Computer Case No.D202518020001156 (State of U.P. vs. Banwarilal) U/s 3/4 U.P. Control of Goondas Act, 1970 thereafter the petitioner has filed the appeal bearing Case No.1665 of 2026, Computer Case No.C202618000001665 (Banwarilal Vs. State of U.P.) Under Section 6 of the U.P. Control of Goondas Act, 1970 before the Commissioner of Division Aligarh (Respondent No.2), which is pending and fixed for 30.10.2026 for summon the lower court record. - Issue a writ or direction in the nature of mandamus to direct the respondent No.2 to expeditious disposal the appeal bearing Case No.1665 of 2026, Computer Case No.C202618000001665 (Banwarilal Vs. State of U.P.) Under Section 6 of the U.P. Control of Goondas Act, 1970....". 3. It has been stated by the counsel for the petitioner that against the order Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Sunder Singh Counsel for Respondent(s) : G.A. Banwarilal .....Petitioner(s) State Of U.P. And 3 Others .....Respondent(s) dated 20.7.2026 passed by the Additional District Magistrate (Finance & Revenue), Aligarh by which the petitioner has been externed from the limits of District Aligarh for a period of six months, the petitioner has filed an appeal before the Commissioner, Aligarh Division, Aligarh which is pending. It is prayed that the said appeal may be directed to be decided expeditiously. 4. In the circumstances, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the Commissioner, Aligarh Division, Aligarh to decide appeal bearing Case No.1665 of 2026, Computer Case No.C202618000001665 (Banwarilal Vs. State of U.P.) filed under Section 6 of the U.P. Control of Goondas Act, 1970 within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5. Let a copy of this order be communicated to the Commissioner, Aligarh Division, Aligarh for compliance by the Registrar (Compliance) of this Court within 24 hours.
