Heard Sri.Devadas N, learned senior counsel as instructed by Sri.Amaresh N, learned advocate appearing for the appellant and Sri.Marsha Goneas, learned counsel - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:7968-DB WA No. 1272 of 2023 for Sri.Tejas S, learned counsel appearing for respondent No.1 and Sri.H.Jayakara Shetty, learned Central Government Counsel appearing for respondents No.2 and 3. 2. We notice that the matter had been settled inter se between the parties. It is stated that the Chief General Manager of the Karnataka Telecom Circle of the appellant has issued a letter dated 06.02.2026 stating that administrative approval is to be granted for settling the amount, accepting the award. It is stated that the appellant has conveyed acceptance of the award and the funds will be arranged and the amounts will be paid within the stipulated time. 3. The said submission is taken on record. 4. The appeal is disposed of in terms of the agreement. The amounts agreed between the parties shall be paid as undertaken by the letter dated 06.02.2026. The - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:7968-DB WA No. 1272 of 2023 parties are free to seek re-opening of the matter, if the amounts are not paid as agreed upon. 5. We wish to place on record our deep appreciation for the efforts of Sri.Aravind Kamath, learned A.S.G.I and Sri.Devadas N, learned senior counsel for the appellant for settling the matter between the parties, who are both functionaries of the same entity. 6.
