It is the contention of the petitioner that the petitioner who has put up a residential building in a land belonging to the government in Sy.No.63 of Yedavanahalli Village, Anekal Taluk, Bangalore Urban District, in a plot measuring 1200 Sq.ft, has filed an application seeking regularisation of unauthorised occupation of dwelling house under Section 94(C) of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964 on 25.09.2000. Respondent No.4-Tahsildar, Anekal Taluk has failed to consider the application and pass necessary orders. Therefore, the prayer in the writ petition is to issue necessary directions to the 4th respondent-Tahsildar to consider the application and pass orders within a time frame. 3. The writ petition stands disposed of with a specific direction to respondent No.4-Tahsildar, Anekal Taluk, to verify from the records as to whether such application filed by the petitioner in the year 2000 is pending consideration. If it is found that such an application was indeed filed by the petitioner and the application is yet to be considered, the Tahsildar is directed to place before the Committee for Regularisation of Unauthorised Construction, the application - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:12595 WP No. 15204 of 2023 along with his recommendation within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
