The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Jaynagar P.S. Case No.186 of 2025 for the alleged offences registered under Sections 85 and 3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act pending in the Court of learned SDJM, Koderma. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner happened to be husband of the informant and there are general and omnibus allegations of torture and demand of 2026:JHHC:14277 --2-- A.B.A. No. 2389 of 2026 dowry. He further submits that the entire allegations are false. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposed the prayer and submits that the petitioner happened to be husband and the allegation of torture is there. 5. Considering that the petitioner happened to be husband of the informant and in the FIR the mode of torture is not disclosed and in that view of the matter the petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned Court within two weeks and the learned Court shall release the petitioner on such terms and conditions or the sureties as the learned Court may deem fit and proper.
