Case No.758 of 2025 dated 09.05.2025 under Sections 21(c)/25/27A/29 of the NDPS Act, 1985. And In the matter of: Kaiyum Sk. @ Kayum Sk. ….Petitioner. Md. Wasim Akram ….for the petitioner Mr. Ranadeb Sengupta Ms. Pallavi Priyadarshee ….for the State Report filed on behalf of the State is taken on record. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that other than the statements of a co-accused, there is no other incriminating material available against the petitioner. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He submits that a proclamation has already been issued against the present petitioner. Other than that, there is a criminal antecedent against the petitioner being Kaliachak P. S. Case No. 2081 dated 20.12.2025 under provision of the NDPS Act. Considering the above and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary and the restriction contained in Section 37 of the NDPS Act, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.
