JUSTICE R DEVDAS - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:17281 WP No. 7886 of 2026 ORAL ORDER The petitioner is aggrieved of the impugned endorsement at Annexure ‘A’ issued by the Deputy Commissioner, Chikkaballapura District rejecting the application for conversion filed under Section 95 of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act. 2. On the previous occasion, since it was pointed out from the impugned endorsement that no date is forthcoming, this Court had directed the learned HCGP to secure instructions from the Deputy Commissioner as to the date when which the impugned endorsements were issued. 3. Today, the learned HCGP has filed a memo along with copy of the impugned endorsement and submits the date is in fact given in the endorsement order as 07.02.2026. The application was filed on 09.01.2026 and therefore the endorsement is issued within the time prescribed in the provision. Therefore, if the petitioner is - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:17281 WP No. 7886 of 2026 aggrieved of the rejection of the application, then the remedy is available before the Karnataka Revenue Appellate Tribunal. 4. In that view of the matter, the petition stands disposed of, reserving liberty to the petitioner to approach the Karnataka Revenue Appellate Tribunal to redress the grievance of the petitioner.
