Also heard Mr. B. Sarma, learned Addl. P.P for the State of Assam. 2. The petitioner was granted the privilege of an interim protection by the order dated 09.01.2026. 3. Mr. M.P Goswami, learned Addl. P. P. has submitted that CD has noting up- Page No.# 2/2 to 04.01.2026 although the CD received in July, 2026. 4. Having regard to the facts and circumstances projected, I am of the considered opinion that the interim protection granted to the petitioner on 09.01.2026 can be made absolute, in the event the conditions for grant of the interim bail had been fulfilled by the petitioner. 5. In the event the petitioner has not yet appeared before the Investigating Authority, the petitioner shall appear on or before 03.09.2026, failing which the privilege granted by this order shall stand lapsed. 6.
