This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India in respect of Title Appeal (C) No. 16/2024 pending in the court of the learned Additional District Judge No. 2, Kamrup (M), Guwahati. The respondents have already got stay order in Title Execution No. 03/2015. The original suit was for specific performance of contract. The respondents filed a petition praying that wanted to enter into the suit. But their petition was rejected. They filed an appeal and the appeal has been pending for a long time. It is submitted by Mr. Das that the respondents have unnecessary taking adjournments before the appellate court. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court hereby directs the learned Additional District Judge No. 2, Kamrup (M), Guwahati to dispose of the Title Appeal (C) No. 16/2024 expeditiously.
