It has been alleged that on an information that some children were being trafficked in Vasco Da Gama Express a raid was conducted at Dhanbad Station and seven persons were apprehended. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the appellant that out of the seven persons intercepted one was a minor child while the rest six were adults. Learned counsel submits that it was Kanchan Mallik who was apprehended at the spot and so far, as the present appellant is concerned, he is said to have deboarded at Jasidih.

26.02.2026.
Learned Spl. P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the appellant.
Regard being had to the fact that out of seven persons apprehended only one person was found to be a minor and the rest were adults and considering the fact that the appellant was not apprehended at the spot, we while setting aside the order dated 04.04.2026 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Dhanbad in B.P. No. 196/2026, arising out of Dhanbad G.R.P.S. Case No. 67/2026, direct that the appellant be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate Railway, Dhanbad in connection with Dhanbad G.R.P.S.
