not releasing the result of the petitioner for 2nd semester M.Tech Advanced power systems (1st year) on the ground that the interim orders of the Honble High court in WP No.23418/2025 does not contain a direction for release of result as arbitrary illegal, high handed capricious and contrary to the principles of natural justice and consequentially direct the respondents 2 and 3 to release 2nd semester M.Tech Advanced power systems (1st year) examination result of the petitioner forthwith IA NO: 1 OF 2026 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased grant interim direction, directing the respondents 3 & 4 to release 2nd semester M.Tech Advanced power systems (1st year) examination result of the petitioner forthwith pending disposal of the main writ petition Counsel for the Petitioner:

The Court made the following order: The petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on part of the respondents 3 and 4 in not releasing the results of the Second Semester M. Tech. (Advanced Power Systems) examination on the ground that the interim orders passed by this Court in W.P.No. 23418 of 2025 did not direct the release of the results. 2.
It is submitted that the petitioner had earlier filed W.P.No.23418 of 2025, aggrieved by the action of the respondent authorities in denying issuing the hall ticket on the ground that the petitioner had fallen short of the attendance. A learned Single Judge of this Court on 03.09.2025 had granted interim order directing the respondents therein to permit the petitioner to appear for the Second Semester examination. 3. It is submitted that, in pursuance of the said directions, the petitioner appeared for the said examination. It is further submitted that the writ petition was closed, as the grievance of the petitioner, insofar as permitting her to appear for the examination was adequately addressed in pursuance of the interim directions of this Court. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, as the writ petition was closed without any specified direction for the release of the result, the respondents 3 and 4 are now withholding the petitioner’s results. Hence, the present writ petition is filed. 4
5. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 and 2. There is no representation on behalf of respondents 3 and 4. 6. The short point for consideration is having permitted the petitioner to appear for the examination in pursuance of the interim orders of this Court, the respondents will have to release the results and permit the petitioner for appearing the said scheduled Semester Examinations. Accordingly, the respondents 3 and 4 shall forthwith release the results of the petitioner. 7. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. ____________________ JUSTICE HARINATH.N 01.10.2026 RJS/SZT
