Heard the arguments of learned counsel for the parties. 2. It appears that, there is a delay of 491 days in filing the petition. On hearing the submissions fo the learned counsel for the petitioner on 16.06.2025, this Court has directed the petitioner to pay the entire arrears of maintenance within four weeks from 16.06.2025. On that condition, this Court had stayed the further proceedings. It was also made clear that, if the petitioner fails to pay the amount within four weeks, the respondent- wife is at liberty to execute the order and the warrants will come into force. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:15934 RPFC No. 161 of 2025 3. However, till date, the petitioner did not come forward to comply with the interim direction of this Court. There is an inordinate delay of 491 days in filing the petition. In view of non-compliance of the order dated 16.06.2025, this Court is not inclined to condone the inordinate delay of 491 days. 4. Hence, IA No.1/2025 for condonation of delay is dismissed.
