Medhi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. A. Begum, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, for the State respondent. 2. This is an application filed under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023, praying for grant of bail to the accused/petitioner, namely, Bikash Bhardwaj, Page No.# 2/2 apprehending his arrest by the police of Noonmati Police Station in the district of Kamrup (M), Assam. 3. A report from Noonmati Police Station is placed before the Court wherefrom it is seen that till date no case has been registered against the present petitioner in the said police station. 4. In view of the above, this bail application is disposed of. 5. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum as and when if any case is registered against him. 6. The copy of the report dated 18.02.2026 received from the Officer-in- Charge of Noonmati Police Station be kept as part of the record. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
