For the O.P. : A.P.P. --- 02/14.05.2026 Heard Mr. Lakhan Chandra Roy, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected in B.A. No. 11368 of 2025. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that he is in custody since 15.09.2025. Learned counsel for the petitioner while referring to the 183 B.N.S.S. statement of the victim has submitted that it was Mohan Das who had committed rape upon the victim and so far as the petitioner is concerned, he is said to have outraged her modesty and touched her immorally. The 183 B.N.S.S. statement of the victim does indicate that the petitioner was present at the time when Mohan Das had committed rape upon the victim and he had inappropriately touched her as per the 183 B.N.S.S. statement of the victim. Regard being had to the above, I am not inclined to re-consider the prayer for bail of the petitioner which stands rejected once again. This application stands rejected. (Rongon Mukhopadhyay, J.)
