. 2026 Heard Mr. N. Uddin, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. B. Sarma, learned Addl. P.P for the State of Assam.
2. The learned Addl. P.P has submitted that the charge-sheet has been submitted in the present matter, and the scanned copy of the TCR has also been received. The charges were framed on 18.08.2026 and the matter is listed next before the learned
Page No.# 2/2 Trial Court on 02.09.2026, for evidence.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner said that the recovery from the house of the petitioner is only an intermediate quantity, slightly above the 1 kg benchmark, and the petitioner has already suffered 71 days in custody.
4. In view of the fact that the charge-sheet has been submitted and the charges have been framed, we deem it proper that the petitioner should approach the learned Trial Court to pray for grant of regular bail at the present stage.
5. Accordingly, this bail petition is closed, allowing the petitioner to approach the learned Trial Court to pray for regular bail. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
