The present bail application has been filed by the applicant under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (hereinafter referred to as the ‘BNSS’) for grant of interim bail to the applicant for a period of 30 days on medical grounds in FIR No. 369/2024, under sections 103(1) BNS, Police Station- Kalindi Kunj. 4. Learned counsel for the Applicant submits that the Applicant is suffering from a life-threatening disease and prays that he be granted interim bail for a period of 30 days. 5. Issue notice. 6. He further submits that, as per the medical status report received from the Jail, the Applicant's general medical condition is stable. The prescribed medications are being provided through the Jail Dispensary, and he is under regular follow-up with the concerned doctor. 7. Insofar as the Applicant's Type-II Diabetes Mellitus is concerned, the same is a lifelong condition and cannot be cured within a period of 15 or 30 days. Moreover, the Applicant has been provided all necessary treatment at Safdarjung Hospital and, as per the Jail Medical Report, his condition is stable and the prescribed medications are being regularly administered. 8. In these circumstances, and keeping in view the gravity of the offence, this Court is of the opinion that no ground for grant of interim bail on medical grounds is made out. 9.
