ORDER:-
The instant writ petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking the following main prayer:
“….to issue a Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the inaction of Respondent No.3, the District Mines and Geology Officer, Visakhapatnam, in disobeying and not implementing the direction of Respondent No.1 dated 21.03.2025 to verify the facts once again with respect to the Revision Case concerning Demand Notice No.677/TP/2021, dated 31.03.2023, as illegal, arbitrary, and violative of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India consequently, direct the Respondent No.4 to immediately comply with the direction of Respondent No.1 dated 21.03.2025 and submit a report within a time frame stipulated by this Hon'ble Court by directing the Respondent No. 1 to dispose of the Revision Petition filed by the petitioner on 05.04.2023, forthwith after receiving the report from Respondent No.3 and to pass….”

When the matter is taken up for hearing, Sri N.Sashinag, learned counsel representing Sri V.Sai Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that in view of the subsequent events occurred in the lis, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for further adjudication. Accordingly, he submits that the matter has become infructuous.
3. Recording the above said submissions, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, all pending applications shall stand closed.
