ORDER Date : 21.08.2026 (K.R. Surana, J) Mr. A. Ali, learned counsel for the petitioner is present and heard.
2. Mr. P. Sarmah, learned Addl. Senior Govt. advocate has produced written instructions dated 20.08.2026 issued by the Officer-in-Charge of Palasbari Police Station, informing that pursuant to the order dated 17.08.2026, the petitioner appeared before him and produced a certified copy of the order dated 17.08.2026 passed by this Court. Accordingly, a team visited the rehabilitation centre, namely, “Nisha Mukta Kendra”, at Lachit Nagar, Mirza, and the son of the petitioner, namely, Jayanta Das, was taken therefrom to the Mirza CHC for medical examination. Upon completion of the medical examination, he was handed over to the petitioner.
3. It has been reported that the aforesaid actions are duly reflected in G.D. Entry Nos. 8, 9 and 10 dated 19.08.2026 of Palasbari Police Station.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute the correctness of the said report.
5. In view of the above, this Court is satisfied with the compliance of the
order dated 17.08.2026. Accordingly, this writ petition stands closed on satisfaction.

6. We record our appreciation for the prompt action taken by the Officer- in-Charge of Palasbari Police Station.
7. The learned Addl. Senior Govt. advocate shall communicate a downloaded copy of this order to the Palasbari Police Station.
