Pandit, learned counsel for the applicant. By filing this interlocutory application, the applicant/writ petitioner seeks impleadment of “Merina Basumatary” & “Priyankar Basumatary” as the respondent Nos. 8 & 9 respectively in the writ petition. Mr. M. Pandit, learned counsel for the applicant submits that impleadment of these two (2) persons is necessary because these two (2) persons were placed in the 2nd and 3rd position in the selection, conducted for the post of Assistant Professor in the Department of History in Basugaon College. He submits that in the event, the writ petition is allowed, the interest of these two (2) persons may be affected and therefore their impleadment has been sought for by the petitioner/applicant. Mr. A. R. Tahbildar, learned counsel for the respondent Nos. 1 & 2; Mr. B. C. Muchahary, learned counsel for the respondent BTC; Mr. N. K. Murray, learned counsel for the respondent Nos. 5 & 6 and Mr. P. Daimary, learned counsel for the respondent No. 7, have no objection to the prayer.
