Patowary, learned counsel, appearing for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. K.K. Parasar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that charge-sheet has been submitted in this matter vide Charge-Sheet No.97/2026 dated 30.07.2026. The petitioners had been granted interim protection vide order dated 16.06.2026. Since the investigation has already culminated, there would be no further apprehension of arrest of the petitioners by the investigating authorities. The petitioners would be at liberty to approach the learned trial court praying for appropriate relief, in the event they are put up for trial.
