1. Heard Mr. Sanjay Agrawal, learned counsel for the applicants. Also heard Mr. Shailendra Sharma, learned Panel Lawyer, appearing for the State/respondent No. 1. 2. The present petition has been filed by the applicants with the following prayer:
“It is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to quash the First Information Report related to the applicants bearing Crime No. 363 of 2025 registered against the applicants for offence under Section 120-B, 34 and 409 of Indian Penal Code at Police Station Civil Lines, Raipur, Chhattisgarh in the interest of justice”
3. Upon perusal of the prayer clause in the present petition, it appears that the petition has been drafted with a defective prayer. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain the petition in its present form, as the prayer is vague and sketchy and does not disclose the date
3 on which the impugned FIR has been registered against the applicants. At this stage, learned counsel for the applicants seeks permission to withdraw the petition with liberty to file a fresh petition containing an appropriate and complete prayer. 4. Learned State Counsel has no objection to the said request. 5.
In view of the submission made by learned counsel for the applicants, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty, subject to the applicants depositing a sum of Rs.5,000/- as costs before the Registry of this Court. The receipt of such deposit shall be submitted at the time of filing the fresh petition, if any. The amount so deposited shall be transmitted to the Government Disabled College, Mana Camp, Raipur (C.G.). 6. Certified copies of the documents annexed to the petition, if any, may be returned to learned counsel for the applicants after retaining photocopies thereof on record.
