Order on Board 07/01/2026
1. Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs : Digitally signed by PRAVEEN KUMAR SINHA Date: 2026.01.09 10:43:36 +0530

“10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to allow the petition and set-aside the impugned order dated 15.10.2025 (Annexure P/4) in the interest of justice. 10.2 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to allow the petition and direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.06.2025 for his transfer in interest of justice.”
2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner, while working on the post of Food Safety Officer and posted at Narayanpur, has been given additional charge of Dantewada and Bijapur vide order dated 15.10.2025, which is arbitrary. He contended that distance between initial place of posting to Dantewada is much more. Other Food Safety Officer posted in nearby area of Dantewada can be directed to take additional charge of that place. Petitioner has already submitted representation on 05.06.2025 (Annexure P-2) for change of place of posting and further representation dated 07.11.2025 (Annexure P-5) against the impugned order of giving him additional charge of district Dantewada and Bijapur. However, till date no decision has been taken on his representation.
3.
Learned counsel for the State opposes submission of learned counsel for the petitioner and would submit that looking to the fact that post of Food Safety Officer at Dantewada and Bijapur is vacant, interim arrangement has been made and petitioner's original place of posting is still at Narayanpur. She further submits that if petitioner has already
3 / 3 submitted representation, which is stated to be still pending
consideration, it will be considered in accordance with law.
4. Heard learned counsel for the parties.
5. On due consideration of the nature of grievance raised by the petitioner in particular that petitioner has not been transferred but he has been given additional charge of vacant office of Dantewada and Bijapaur , I am inclined to dispose off this writ petition at this stage directing respondents to consider and take decision on the pending representation of petitioner dated 05.06.2025 (Annexure P-2) and 07.11.2025 (Annexure P-5) in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a further period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is ordered accordingly.
6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, writ petition stands
disposed off. Sd/- Sd/- (Parth Prateem Sahu) Judge Praveen
