It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner has applied for an arms license before the appropriate authority but till date no decision has yet been taken on his application. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that suffice it would be if a direction is given to the Deputy Commissioner, Godda to pass a final order on the application of the petitioner, considering the reports which has been sent to him. 4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits if the matter is still pending, appropriate order will be passed within four weeks. 5. Considering the said submission, I direct the petitioner to approach the Deputy Commissioner, Godda with the copy of this order within two weeks, who will pass an appropriate order within four weeks, considering the report which has been sent to him. If the Deputy Commissioner, Godda finds that the petitioner is entitled for the arms license, the same should be provided to him within two weeks thereafter. 2026:JHHC:14857 2 6.
