The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected twice in B.A.No.309 of 2025 and B.A. No.4811 of 2025. The petitioner is an accused in connection with S.T. No.350 of 2023 arising out of Chanho P.S. Case No. 141 of 2022 pending in the Court of learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-XVII, Ranchi. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the daughter-in-law of the informant has been examined and in course of trial, she has denied of any knowledge of having seen the assailants committing the murder. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 20.09.2022. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. It appears that out of 10 charge sheet witnesses, 07 witnesses have been examined and the son of the informant, who is also an eye witness as per the First Information Report, has not yet been examined. In view of the fact that the trial is at its fag end and one of the main witness has not been examined by the prosecution, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and the same is hereby rejected.
