This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers:- “a) Issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction directing the Respondents to forthwith release and disburse the scholarship amount for the second and third academic years to the Petitioner; b) Direct the Respondents to process and approve the Petitioner’s scholarship applications for the academic years 2024–2025 and 2025–2026 and ensure timely disbursement of future installments for the remaining duration of the course; c) Direct the Respondents to rectify any technical discrepancies, including those relating to Aadhaar or PFMS, and not deny the Petitioner his legitimate scholarship on such This is a digitally signed order. In the present case, the dispute was with regard to the respondents not releasing and disbursing the scholarship for the second and third academic years to the petitioner. 3. Mr. Gupta, learned counsel for the respondents, has handed over a Short Reply on behalf of the Respondents dated 06.07.2026 in the Court today, wherein it has been stated that scholarship for the academic year 2024-25 has already been disbursed on 04.07.2026 in the petitioner’s account. For academic year 2025-26, since the online submission of applications is closed, the petitioner may submit an offline application to the Institute Nodal Officer, who shall after verification ensure that the amount is disbursed to the petitioner. For the application for the academic year 2026-27 onwards, the petitioner may apply online through National Scholarship Portal and scholarship would be released in accordance with law. 4. In view of the fair stand of the respondents, the grievance of the petitioner no longer survives and the present petition is accordingly disposed of. 5.
